I am a big proponent of the two handled medicine ball. I have had my very inshape and tough trainees and clients slam these balls in to their abs repeatedly and have laid on them but have never done this. If yiur stomach muscles are hard. Hers are. https://www.instagram.com/p/BcCbwdrnyF2jpvuU288RHA4DCfFuZqLECA5_Ps0/?taken-by=ab.venturous

I just sent this to 19 members on this site. The thicker your abs are, the more punishment you can take. I think we all enjoy that. I know i do. I like Scott Herman as a trainet. see if u like this too.

I am a BIG proponent of the ab wheel, the ab wheel works the transverse sheath which is the thick tight layer of muscle that sits behind the rectus abdominus aka six or 8 pack Its part of the core. Core also includes intercostals ( between the ribs ) and Obliques which are the most neglected muscles in the stomach. These all work in-conjunction with the back....This guys has it together. You don't need a gym to have a strong muscular stomach. What you need is the determination to go after the conditioning, get tough then learn to box, or Kick-box you will always have someone to punish your gut.

I dont believe in sets or reps. I work all of my muscle groups to total fatigue and exhaustion. I work the muscle until its screaming in pain. I do 1000 crunches every morning. 50 push ups With this I add leg raises. I do them untill Im hurting. In the gym I dont do sets or reps its all out. I believe that when you leave the gym you should be completely sweated through your clothes. Otherwise you have wasted your time. I believe in forced abs workouts.

Curious as to the weight to choose for the optimum number of reps to total fatigue.. Too low a weight, and it could take an hour/hundreds of reps to get to fatigue. To high a weight, and might be lucky to do 5 or 10. So wonder what range of reps is optimal. Am trying to work in the 15-to-40 rep range*, after doing a round of exercises with very low weight to "warm up" the muscles. Be interested in seeing responses from all the "one set to total (wipeout) fatigue in terms of poundage for optimum # of reps..

*Abs are a different story – try to do 1,000 or more reps every day, (all different variations, per my blog) and if I don't do at least 500, I don't even mark it down as having done them :)
