I go to a boxing gym in Ohio...the guys who run it are both around sixty as am I. Today, I did some UFC type stuff...cool...and the guy, Don, tells me that "Boxing saved his life." Huh? Turns out a guy had gut punched him in the ring repeatedly a few years ago, and that night he had severe rectal bleeding. After going to the hospital, a colonoscopy showed that a cancerous polyp had burst from the punching...but that was a good thing...otherwise, the cancer would have not been diagnosed for a long time. Surgery ensured and Don lives years later to tell the tale. Very cool. D
