Unfortunately our interest group was shut down a few days ago by admin, presumably because it wasn't able to gain enough members fast enough. As the host, I kept getting these messages that kept upping the ante on how many members the group had to have within X number of days. Every time we met one, a new threshold would pop up. (I think the last one I saw was "must have 60 members within 90 days".)
It seems like there was interest, but not enough to meet the minimum prescribed by the site admins. :-(
Thanks everyone! Really really appreciate the support and comments 🥰
Interest groups can be a lot. But at least there would be something - it's a start to beginning some kind of online trans wrestler community and contact. Forum posts and meetups only go so far.
I have noticed that MF only has male and female - I actually had to contact support to change my gender when I transitioned. Can be something I raise with em through support.
Otherwise if anyone with 10+ recommendations wants to help start up a trans group, message me and lets hopefully get the ball rolling x
I would be happy to start an Interest Group on this topic, except that I belong to no Interest Groups for a reason, and that's because the message notifications from that group clog up the Mailbox on here.
It seems like the more basic issue is that the site only allows members to enter "Male" or "Female" for their gender, and no field in which to enter additional/alternate information like being trans and so forth. Obviously this binary approach to gender has become increasingly dated and out of step. I would recommend that interested folks make a suggestion to the site owners to expand profile fields to include trans and non-binary options. This would not only help people find each other via searches, but also provide better up-front information on one's profile.

It may be best just to advertise your meets more regularly or talk them up in the forms and then hopefully you will attract more trans wrestlers to wrestle, eventually receiving enough feedbacks to secure your own Group. I don't feel there is any short-cut route to achieving your goal....
I went to create an interest group for trans wrestlers and Meetfighters doesn't allow groups created by people with under 10 past opponents - putting this out into the universe for any trans people who have the 10 opponents and wanna create a group for trans wrestlers to connect and share their experiences x
Im not trangendered myself, but i wouldve been happy to oblige you since i absolutely believe its something MF could use!
Unfortunately, five of my past opponents have left MF leaving me with only nine past opponents on record so im no use here. Best of luck to you though! I certainly think its a good idea. One of my best (non erotic/non MF) matches were with a good friend of mine who is a trangendered male.. he actually approached me because hed always wanted to wrestle or spar but no one would do it with him because of the fact that he was born a woman. Stupid, but in rural alabama, thats super common
