I remember as a young boy seeing a movie on TV here in the UK about 50 years ago. The American soldiers were lined up ready to fight the Red Indians. To avoid a big battle with lots of deaths, the American leader stripped off his shirt and fought 1-on-1 with the Indian leader who was, as ever, also barechested. They fought for ages, on land and in the river - very exciting. Can anyone tell me what this film was?

wow... i've also remembered one similar scene too... really caught my eye & attention... there was a colonizer of USA and he has to "fight" shirtless with the best warrior of an apache tribe... the apache chief throws an axe to a tree ... and both wrestle and approach close to the axe to have an advantage... the stud was black hair, no hair on his chest (kind of rock hudson). if anyone knows it... because the most close i've been in my research is to this, but it's not what i see:

macho, es david crockett... pero no es la escena que vi y que me impacto... era una lucha sin camisa entre el macho (tipo rock hudson, sin pelo en pecho y morocho) y el piel roja sin camisa... el gran jefe tiraba un hacha a un arbol y ellos corrian a por ella... batiendose a un duelo cuerpo a cuerpo... ME CALENTÓ CUANDO YO ERA NENE!

I can't think of any. 60 something vs 60 something. Cornell Wilde had fights vs younger in "Shark's Treasure" and The Naked Prey" Leslie Nielsen had a nice fight in "Project Kill", I think but he was only 50 ish. I loved a scene from Star trek next Generation with older vs younger. I wish this had gone waaay longer...
