I think all of you guys should be open to trying new things. And if you don't like it then stop. Any punching heels looking for jobbers, I am willing for anything
I've never been upside down before closest I can to that was laying on the bed my waist up handging over the bed with me head barely touching the floor
Personally, I would never do anything short of either just standing and taking or lying down and taking. Being tied up and hanging from the ground, upside down or otherwise, can be fine for a few hits just to live out the fantasy, but the rectus abdominis wasn't designed to be flexed in these positions, and even though I've already made a thread about it, the one thing I absolutely will not risk is a hernia; that's just a nightmare horror movie scenario I do not desire in the least.
I mean, yes, that added level of strain is great for hanging leg raises and stuff like that, but to put even more pressure on the abs via body blows just makes it dangerous.
It makes a great spectacle for a photo shoot, video or scene in the movies, but like a lot of those types of stunts, don't play out as dramatic in real-life.
Short story:
When I was a kid I went on a Ferris wheel ride that not only revolved around but the individual car also spun around too. When it got to the top the operator stopped the ride and wouldn't you know left us hanging upside down for 5 minutes that seem like an eternity. All the blood rushed to my head and made me feel nauseous.
From that moment on I realized that hanging upside-down was a position I never wanted to be in again. I haven't been on a Ferris wheel since – regardless of type.
Of course if its within my control, that's a different situation. For example, those back decompression machines really do work. But I know I can get out whenever I've had enough, and I don't stay like that for long.
Definitely understandable. I've never been on a Ferris wheel before, but that experience doesn't sound pleasant at all. The back decompression sounds nice, though.
Never tried, and i dont know if i would. However, someone told me how it feels. Hanging upside down during a gut-punching session creates a completely different kind of pain and endurance challenge. The feeling is raw, deep, and inescapable.
At first, as you’re suspended, there’s a mix of anticipation and tension. Your core is stretched out, making your abs feel vulnerable before the first punch even lands. When it does, the pain is sharp and shocking, shooting deep into your stomach. Because you’re upside down, the impact feels heavier, sinking into your gut without resistance. Your abs try to tighten, but the position weakens your ability to brace—each hit lands harder than usual.
As the punches continue, a slow, dull ache starts to spread. It’s not just the immediate sting of each hit but the way they build on top of each other. Your stomach feels like it's filling with pressure, as if each punch is layering pain on pain, making it harder to breathe. The force moves differently through your body in this position—it doesn’t just hit your abs; it radiates into your ribs, diaphragm, and even your lower back.
Then, the endurance challenge kicks in. The repeated strikes create a deep, throbbing soreness, like your insides are being worked over from the inside out. Your skin starts to feel raw, your muscles scream, but there’s nothing you can do—bound, blindfolded, upside down, every hit just happens to you. The swinging motion from the strikes adds to the helplessness, disorienting you, making it impossible to predict where the next punch will land.
Eventually, the pain becomes something more than just pain—it’s a test of willpower. The burning, the swelling, the way your stomach feels like it’s turning inside out—it all blends into an overwhelming, almost hypnotic sensation. Every deep breath hurts, but you take it anyway, pushing yourself to endure. The more you take, the more the world fades into just you, the hits, and the challenge of lasting through it.
At the peak of the session, your body feels both heavy and weightless. Every punch is absorbed into an already beaten core, sending waves of dull, aching pain through your gut. Your mind starts to blur the line between impact and recovery. The sensation is total—pain, pressure, exhaustion, and a strange sense of satisfaction knowing you’re still hanging, still taking it.
I got hung on the back of a sofa once and had my gut worked over. Another time I was stripped nude and hung in the corner of the ring and he boxed my balls like a speed bag. That did hurt, can't wait till it happens again. Any heels out there want to bring it to my gut or balls, or both?
Aa a total Heel, I would find it dangerous to have Jobber tied upside down. It would cause blood to rush to his brain, possibly resulting in Jobber suffering a stroke, or worse. Plus, it would distract from the dedicated purpose of delivering pain to Jobber's gut. I do like having Jobber tied in restraints while I deliver gut slugs, but. I prefer to have him standing. Then I can just focus on his navel and lower abdominals, no distractions. 👊👊👊💥🥵🔥💪
I had a buddy who would clamp inversion boots on me and hang me upside down from a chin up bar in his garage. He'd punch my stomach and I'd swing back away from him and as I swung forward he'd throw another punch into my belly stopping my swing forward. Then he'd throw another punch to swing me back again... It was great. You're a little lightheaded but the punches felt so damn good!
Like the TREE OF WOE in professional wrestling where the guy's belly and crotch are wide open, he can't move to protect himself and the opponent stomps the stomach and chest.
its definitely something a dude should enter into with great caution. aside from the obvious of being inverted, you have to be sure the dude bashing your abs knows what he is doing—and will release you properly. in that way, it's very much like being choked. hot as hell, but dangerous as fuck, and needing of the man with his biceps or bare hands to know what he is doing. (because too often the guy being choked, like me, will get caught up in the ecstasy of the moment and not know when to quit!)
meanwhile being bashed in the abs while I'm upside down is an exercise literally/figuratively like being in heaven for a dude like me. so, any man who has a way to do it to me (like this coach heel buddy of mine can—in his actual HOIST!), I say invite me over to get me down to my socks, put me upside down (like I am being "raised" in this shot), and go at my abs for days, dude!
It sounds hot, but it’s also something you should always be careful of. It’s dangerous to hang upside down for a long period of time as it disrupts your normal blood flow and you blood flows toward you head instead.
I've only had my stomach worked standing up or laying down but never hung upside down before. I've always wanted to be put in a tree of woe in the corner and have my abs pounded with kicks and knees though. In going for pro training actually, so next session I'll be sure to ask my trainer to kick my gut while hung upside down 😏
Upside down makes you far more vulnerable! I got hung up on one of those sit up contraptions with the hooks and rotated upside down ... FAR MORE INTENSE PUNCHES IN THAT POSITION. First of all messes up your breathing and blood flow.
I have an updated answer. I was hanging halfway out the ring upside down and punched, tree of woe and gut punched, and I've been held upside down in the ring while another guy punched my abs. Being in that position exposes my abs more, I wouldn't say it's more intense. I'd say I'm more vulnerable.
agreed. theres no better way for one man, even though he may be the jobber, to be for another man, his heel. and then when that dude is done with that part, let the rest of the domination continue (and eventually pinned, punched, choked and plowed on the mats)
Yes, I have been punched while hanging upside down also from a chin-up bar. I think it feels more intense because it is disorienting to be upside and getting punched. Very hot though. I was doing some vertical sit-ups and in between had a guy punch my abs hard.
I've had punchees hanging from their knees over a chin up bar, arms bound behind them. And yes, one said it was intense hanging like that, basically defenseless with his abs stretched and a bit hollowed out. It was beautiful wrecking him.
