no need to be restrained, the puncher can lean against with one forearm against chest and punch with other arm, or if needed switch to a side-hug kind of hold with left arm for example around the punchee's shoulders, then he's in tight for close-range punches.
An hour on your feet taking punches is a good hour.
But better than getting wrecked by being on your feet taking punches for an hour straight is taking punches with someone who knows how to read your response, and adjusts accordingly. In that way you may get a 2 to 3 hour session - with breaks, with switching to some sub holds on a mat or mattress, etc - or taking some ab abuse flat on your back - and that's a greater test in my mind. Longer equals better, imo

Do you think that it could be very dangerous to receive blows for more than an hour? Is the colon or appendix at risk? It's just a question since I really like receiving various blows to the navel. Or it could also cause a humbilical hernia. I have a gutpunch session every 3 days in a week.

As long as your muscles absorb the hits and make them harmless, there are no problems. Then you can receive as long as your muscles guided by your mind do the absorption.

It depends on where, and who the punches are coming from of course. There has been NO WAY I could hold out for an hour like some here. As results of a stake,, I knew I made a mistake as my aggressor went to work. Restrained after a submission, my opponent let his boy,, maybe 120 or so, punch me at will, lots of lower belly uppercuts bare fisted. Not used to bare fists, it seems a smaller person's boney fists are worst than getting punched with a bigger hand, I was shocked, the pain was intense, my knees buckled, I was sore and bruised for more than a week.

I don't give my Jobber a chance to fall. I have him spread his arms against the wall behind him. I tie his wrists TIGHT to it, in bondage. Then I slug his gut, hard and DEEP, using my bare knuckled fists. I continue to deliver pain for as long as he can take it, test his limits. I can take a lot of punching in my belly button area and to my ribs a good hour or more before I drop to the floor.

I don't know, in my case it depends not so much on the strength of the punches, as on the way in which they are given and the point of impact. I know for a fact that I can take a lot of punches, on my soft abdomen, so that the partner's fists dig deep, as long as they are well placed and hit me just above the navel. In that area I can take a lot of punches, but if I get some in the belly, I hold less. in the stomach I hold a lot of time.

I don't know. I took close to an hour once. I didn't collapse, but I did beg for mercy.

No limits. The stomach is amazingly tough. In my sessions, I usually take hundreds of punches, with 4 pound lead ball weights in my punchers fists. Been bruised a few times. Never been injured. Poppers and 420 make it an awesome experience! Wish I could find another guy in SF who understands...
