Having been killed in the arena my body ended up laying on the arena floor much like the dead man in this picture.

I'm actually really into ancient Greek & Roman history. This was me at a fantasy fest in KW, Florida some years back. The helmet is a bronze replica of a Spartan hoplite one. A lot of people there really liked the costume. Um die Galerie zu sehen, logge dich bitte ein.

Thanks. Nowadays Fantasy Fest is supposedly a lot tamer and the city has stipulated no fake weapons: thus I can't carry my plastic sword any more. Still that part of the costume wasn't very critical. This was my 1st time doing this and I was surprised at how well received it was.

I think it was the red cape that was very catchy. Also I brought a black g-string which I could've worn instead of the black shorts but I chickened out. Perhaps next FF.

Sadly I was a bit shy at the time so I had many, many missed opportunities. Getting divorced now so I plan to have all sorts of fun – once the covid vaccine's out.

The prongs embedded in the table are coated with poison. The defeated man will pay a double forfeit: the prong enters his hand and the poison enters his bloodstream!

And here is the defeated man, penetrated by the envenomed prong, groggy with the poison and about to suffer death...
