A German interlude
My initial idea of getting to wrestle at least once in every calendar month had failed. For during the recent year I had only wrestled in half the months, and since May I had only wrestled that Astoria guy in August. But this October I finally was able to meet up with the French wrestler Alain in Paris, and this turned out to become a whole week of wrestling.
In the meantime I had also been invited by Thomas, a German guy living near Dusseldorf, who I had wrestled in May, and therefore got the idea that these two visits could be combined. So I started with flying down to Dusseldorf to stay with Thomas for next two days.
This Thomas had been allured by my hairy body when in May I had succeded to keep on top of him, and naturally he also wanted to repeat that match. Luckily Thomas could easily change his study into a matroom, so we certainly could get to wrestle in his place too. I had talked with three other German guys that they could come to wrestle in Thomas' place, but before I got there most of them had decided not to come anyway. But I knew that I at least could have a good match with Thomas.
Even if I had not been succesful in inviting other guys to wrestle in Thomas' place, Thomas had been better so. For he had invited both robertvogt and Ringermatte to come here, both guys I knew from the match I had had in May, and I was happy that they both wanted to wrestle me again. I knew that this robertvogt was a pretty strong guy, and Ringermatte had the same liking as me about wrestling in skintight and shiny lycra gear - so I knew it would be good to wrestle both.
Robertvogt was just as strong as I remembered him. I had chatted with him here on MeetFighters on and off for at least two years, and when I met him the first time it was only for a short match. But now I could feel the full strength of him. He is considerably younger than me, and as such much more agile, so it didn't take long time for him to show who was the best of us, even though I this time was better prepared! With Ringermatte I had another multi-wrestling event, like we had had it in May. There is something challenging about wrestling several guys at the same time without knowing whose arm or leg I grab, but it can never be a serious as a man-vs-man fight.
Besides robertvogt and Ringermatte Thomas had also talked with waterrescue that he could come here too. I had been talking with him previously and knew that he was fond of pool wrestling in a more serious way, for to him it was not just done with the wet element - to him it was more about underwater wrestling! I had been an okay swimmer until I had had that stroke, but after that stroke I had had to give up swimming completely as I no longer was able to raise my head high enough to get some air.
But he did not need a pool for wrestling, and Thomas' mats were quite okay for him. I had expected waterrescue to be a guy of my age or older, but this was not the case. Actually he was younger and a guy in his best of age, pretty sporty, and I soon was to find out how strong (and fast) he was! I enjoyed wrestling a strong guy like waterrescue, to feel his muscles control my body the way he wanted, though I of course tried to keep some kind of control. He had some impressive strong legs, which is something I like, but I could not do much to prevent him from squeezing me over and over again! So of course he won that match, but he would be coming to Copenhagen the next month, so there might me a return match waiting for me!
It had been a great opportunity for me to meet Thomas again and wrestle him again. He was an excellent host and I really liked staying a few days in his jungle-like apartment and experience what good guy Thomas was off the mats. It was great to wrestle him again and I would have loved to spend more time with him and maybe see more of his neighborhood.
So after having wrestled four guys in the two days I had had the best warm-up for the folling days in Paris, and the next morning Thomas took me to the local train station so I could catch the Paris express from Cologne.
