i recently got an app to transfer vhs to digital, so i'm rediscovering bg enterprise matches that i havent seen in over 20 years.

That's so cool. I love BG Enerprise as opposed to BGEast. Especially anything with Big Bruce Braddock in. I wonder if he is on here as a recreational wrestler? Still going strong, well and healthy? the one i got is called diamond, also from amazon, and is pretty user-friendly.

you can get vidbox on Amazon for around $60 , I did mine the long way and converted them to DVD first then DVD to digital file and then put on external hard drive. I have tons of videos.

Good question, so many times the video companies had young well-built athletic guys who have very short careers. Maybe they just needed some fast cash and moved on.

It did say he was a kickboxer. Maybe he did more of that.

To me, it seems that BGE has gotten away from "men" and gone the way of "twinks." Some of the men were hairy, some were not. But they were MEN. Maybe I've gotten older :-) but it seems that the BGE "boys" are just that anymore . . . . . :-(

I met Shane back in the 90's in Philly. Went back to his place and wrestled around. Of course I couldn't even begin to move him. He was so totally hot and a really nice guy too. The funny part was I didn't know "who" he was. it was because of him that I learned about BG Wrestling and have been hooked on the videos ever since.

I agree with @jasontenx and it seemed better scripted than today's videos. I really like the ones where the excitement was in there eyes.

When u look back at the guys they had in the 1980s and 1990s they were more younger guys with normal athletic bodies. The first group in the Brat Pack videos (now vanished from the site) were that type. BGE also decided at some point that all their men had to shave off all body hair except there heads. It removed part of the sexuality of the males. But I guess its too late for them to change so the business will just die.

The hairlessness wasn't necessarily a BG thing. That was just what was popular for a period in the 90's...the smooth, shiny, hairless muscle idiot look. Not my favorite by any means, but that look is reflected in a lot of queer erotic work during that time.

Masculinity is not a “tired concept” is a natural concept as feminine. Please, that disqualification of an essential concept ois tremendously aggresive. Gender ideology is an authoritarian view of humanity, that try to model humans to an artificial model.

The point is that a lot of us speak of BG East of 90’s because we find it much more attractive than BG East today.

And a lot of BG East clients feel that the company is imposing us a kind of product that most of their consumers do not like, only because the company adscribe to an ideological tendency. In fact a bunch of new companies has emerged to satisfy those no-satisfied consumers.

Your answer, with due respect, is a typical defensive gay political statement -no commercial, nor focus in consumers- against a sound and simple complain that it is only saying: “hey, most of us do no like your products today, the old ones were much better in orden to satisfy our desires”. Simple and primal as that.

Primal like wrestling between men, nor between a model of man that political correctness try to impose even to gay people.

I do not like BG East a lot nowadays. For a wrestling company there is a lack of sane masculinity, muscles and roughness competition, where an alpha attitude man tries to defeat other alpha stud, without mercy. Too much political correction, gender ideology typos and gay culture.

It was a wrestling gay company. Now looks like a gay company where gay people wrestle. Not the same.

The vids are decidedly less rough nowadays (which may have to do with such necessary modern ideas as consent and safety), but there is absolutely nothing wrong with seeing different body types and a diversity of humans in erotic wrestling entertainment. Frankly, we could use a lot more of that. There's a broad spectrum of interests out there that most video companies aren't bold enough to touch, and I for one applaud any company willing to stretch beyond the tired concept of "masculinity." No shame if that's what you're into, and lucky for you there's literally thousands of videos using that dynamic (companies like Can-Am literally produce the exact same 3 videos over and over again with different wrestlers), so you've got plenty of past vids to enjoy that focus on those old concepts.

I wasn't able to follow all of your points, but keep in mind that "political correctness" is just a fancy way of saying "treating others as they wish to be treated," so using it as a criticism doesn’t hold quite the impact most folks think it holds 😉

Just re-watched Fan Fantasy 2 (from 2015) that featured Christopher Bruce, a favorite from the 90s. Always one of the "good guys" and as a result often got clobbered in his matches.

Here he takes on Jonny Firestorm who was still a newbie at the time. Jonny idolizes Chris and asks him to autograph a photo. Chris hopes to show the new-comer a few things in the ring and controls Jonny the first half. Jonny turns the tables after that. It was fun to watch a seasoned vet wrestle an eager younger guy. Would Chris' ring savvy and skills be enough to take down this new kid? Or would Jonny's energy and stamina wear down the ring vet?

I have to admit it was hard to see one of my faves from the 90s broken down by Jonny. At one point Chris cries out "I submit, Mr. Firestorm!!" Jonny brutalizes his idol. After the match with Chris out cold in the center of the ring, Jonny says he's going to sell the autographed photo online. He's no longer infatuated with his opponent.

As far as I can tell from the BGE website, it looks like Chris hasn't done any more matches for BGE since this one. Which is too bad since he was/is still in great shape and hot as ever. Just slows down a little sooner, but, hey, that happens.

I was born in the 90s so I didn't see some of this till like now and stuff, but I do like the gear they had then.

U missed a hot time when wrestling videos first started. Some are still available on line and on the BG East and Moviemus Wrestling websites.

There was more thought put into guys characters and moves. More individuality.

I still enjoy BGE but have to say their videos from the 90s are the best!

I gravitate more to the older vids.

The BG Enterprise wrestlers were more believable regular men. They were not the muscled out men of today. Most of those wrestlers were very approachable as well. No attitude. I met several of them. The facility that was used for tapings belonged to a great friend from Long Beach.

No gender ideology, no thin androgin men.

Regular, masculine, nextdoor sporty muscular men. Manly in all cases.

Less sexual and you probably could think most of them are straight, susprised sometimes when you verify they are gay.

One of my favourites from the days of Andy Flyer was a lad called Rob Wright, he was tall and lean and though outweighed by Flyer gave him a good fight and if gut punching had been allowed i reckon he would have hurt / winded Andy and dropped him to his knees or had him submitting

I'm not sure where you saw pictures of Kid Leopard v Tommy Lopez . I have tons of BG videos , and they only thing I could come up with was Arena 14 Kid Leopard & Thom Katt v Tommy Lopez & John Borsos . I have the complete Private Bout series but nothing on there. He did have a match with a guy named Chase who looks similar to Tommy.

I saw pictures of it on the Bg East Arena site. If you search up Tommy Lopez on the site, there is photo galleries of mutiple matches that he is in that don't have videos available. Sometimes Kid Leopard only did photo shoots. This maybe one of them. I wrestled tommy lopez in his prime. He was great.

Can't help u with that but I have to say the BGE in the early days say 1990s did have some of the beat looking young wrestlers in very hot matches. Then they changed to older bodybuilders with shaved bodies and never been good since IMO.

Ucw doesn't have bodybuilders. Most of the roster that wrestlers regularly for them are pretty skilled. There's a few muscular guys, but they know how to. wrestle.

NHB Battle , now Moviemus Wrestling, had many good looking young wrestlers but no more. They looked like HS and College men, very skilled and fun to watch.

Bryan Walsh was one of the hottest BG wrestlers and probably the ideal type of energy for pro crossing over into a somewhat more sensual world. Not only did he sell the holds well whether he was receiving or giving, he looked incredibly hot doing so. He is so committed to his character and selling the match. I wish I could go back in time and wrestle him during his early BG era.

Great question, certainly one of the best looking men ever on NHB Battle and BG East. His outdoor match with Lance Jeffers for BGE is a classic of erotic wrestling. I doubt any guy could watch those 2 in action and not get a boner and want to jaculate.

For Doug Warren Fans; He is back on video in a match from the latest BG East catalog ([email protected] - Catalog 156 - Mat Hunks 12). He takes on Tony Vincini in what is described as "a real mma style match". From the sample pics it appears that there is no striking but the guys use many wrestling, grappling, and mma holds to force submissions. It looks to be intense and powerful. I remember Doug as one of the friendliest and open of the BG grapplers. His personality did a 100% about face when he stepped on the mat.

I just received the DVD of this match with DW (Mat Hunks 12). Very good and I recommend it, especially for any Doug Warren fans.

His hottest match was against a guy named Chase. These 2 rassle and frot on the mat in gear. It is just so sensual as the older taller Doug fights the well-defined young Chase. Doug also trash talked a lot in his matches which was distracting for me anyway.

Did TNT ever lose a match on BG East? U always wonder without the script how good a wrestler was he? Best match of his for me was TNT vs Mark Rosana. Mark had the perfect athletic wrestler's body. Both him and and his brother Tony were mere jobbers for BGE.

Yes TNT lost a few : Submission 3 Vs Dick the Prick, Bratpack 2 vs Raw Deal, Bratpack 12 vs Dirty Doten , vs Tommy Morton in one of the Tennyson series matches, and to Bryan Walsh 9I believe it was a Private Bout match.

I haven't had time to go thru my BG videos, but I'm pretty sure Chuck "Tiger" Collins gave TNT ("tiny nuts & tits") a good thrashing in a Private Bout match. And I also saw him (on video) take on Bryan Walsh in the ring in some series. It was a good give and take match. I want to say Bryan won, but TNT did some dirty tactics on Bryan after the match.

Private Bout 54 TNT v Chuck Collins was won by TNT but only with interference from Kid Leopard. The match with Bryan Walsh was a very hot back and forth won by Bryan .

Also the Bryan Walsh v Scott Williams is a great fight

I believe Matt Carlton was also Fallen Angel. I believe his given name was Paul who I wrestled in the late 80’s. He was a fun wrestler. One of my best matches.

Matt Carlton teamed up with Steve Rogers for a hot tag match which they lost. Afterwards Rogers and Carlton wrestled each other. Never saw the second one.

I have both The tag Team match and the fued match between Scott Rogers and Matt Carlton, very hot match.

I can remember Bryan Walsh making an appearance on World of Sport wrestling (as Bill Pearl) - he was much thinner but still muscled and wrestled Greg Valentine - great match up as Pearl played the heel.

BGE discontinued the BratPack and Tennyson series years ago, mostly available in VHS, I have several. BGE reissued Brat Pack about 15-17 years ago for a short time in DVD , but it was only for a short time.

I enjoyed those matches way more than the fit body builders who couldn't actually wrestle .

I think the closest you will find to those matches on BG East is in the Private Bouts series. A quick check and I found TNT in Private Bouts 62-65 , 77-80 and 93-96.

He also did a match with a long haired blond biker Dusty Ryder on Arena 11 (super hot match) and vs Derrick James on Arena 18.

Great reading all these comments! I think the first BG match I saw was Doug Warren wrestling Jason Ward. Hot and sexy and still one of my favorite matches. So many other great guys too: Mitch Colby, Kid Leopard, BBW, Shane McCall, Chuck Collins, Buddy Justice, and on and on... If any BG wrestlers are reading this, thanks for your matches. So in one of his later videos Robbie has a ‘77 tattoo on his upper arm. So, if that was his birth year? Today Robbie would be 44. And, being that he always claimed he was straight I’m thinking his married with children.

Some of these guys, sadly, are dead now from AIDS......and a few survived and are proud gay men in excellent shape.......so goes the world.

I loved Jeff Kenney, Andy Bailey, Michael Reuter, Pat Donovan, Sean Patrick. They were all extremely aggressive fighters. Some of their scraps made you wonder of they really hated their opponents.

On MeetFighters I've connected with Kyle Bradford, Lance Jeffers, Glenn Scott, and Matt Reid (my absolute favorite).

Totally agree, they were some of the finest grapplers BGE ever had before they went all in for bodubuilder types. Those guys looks like real men u would meet. I also was a big fan of Scott Rogers. BGE changed him into Dark Rogers which was a pathetic attempt to make him a psycho type pro instead of a clean cut cute guy. Too bad he never had any video matches with the men u mentioned unless Im wrong.
I once had the pleasure to chat (on Meet) with Kid L about his match with Scott. KL had some awesome stories.

I agree, Scott Rogers was a cute boy next door type who played that role better than the Dark character, One of his hottest matches with KL with a hot erotic ending was on the Sexy Trio offering by BG Enterprise, now available on the Can-Am website.

Andy Bailey is still around. He’s on one of the wrestling sites. I believe he’s on Philly. My all time favorite is Tommy Lopez who’s a successful Psychologist living in Florida now. I too enjoyed Robbie as well. It was know that he was “straight” but loved to wrestle nude and didn’t matter weather his opponents were straight or gay. In fact a couple of those matches were against friends which he goated into fighting him.

I always wondered if some of those guys were his friends. There was one dude I remember he wasn't as rough with. Almost seemed like he didn't have the heart to beat on his friend too much. He was an animal most of the time. There's one where he's going at it with a bigger white dude who clearly thought it was just gonna be some fun, naked rolling around...but Robby goes full beast on him and it sort of forces the white dude to face his frustration and fight back harder. The dynamics of those old matches were fascinating. I'd love to find Robby and interview him about all of it.

Robbie Cardenas vs Ricky Masa. (Friends) Robbie vs Danny Lopez (Friends) story with both matches. Robbie liked to wrestle other straight men and make them pleasure him orally after beating them Ricky and Danny were both challenged by there friend Robbie. Then he asked both of them if they would like to make some money and have the matches video taped.

Kyle Bradford is a wrestling beast who has been laying low since that courtroom dustup with Top Gun. Does anyone know if Bradford ever wrestled him or if his supposed claims to such were just youthful – and ill-advised – fantisicizing and PR gone wrong?

While we know that Top Gun was a top High School Wrestler. No one knows the real story of The Bradford encounter. It remains a mystery between the two of them.

I’m looking for a particular match that I’ll call a fight. Like a lot of the old BG East videos it takes place in a hotel room. It is two scrappy smaller guys that almost look like brothers. It they relentlessly gut punching and jumping off the floor length air conditioning unit that ran underneath the closed windows. I would have to say this was a real rasslin scrap. Would love to get the name of the video to watch it again.

I have a huge collection of wrestling videos over 2,000 including %75 percent of the BG catalog , was this one of their Motel Madness series? I don't recall Kyle Bradford doing any of those, or was it another company? I have some Kyle Bradfords videos , most of them are in a ring or mat.

I met and wrestled Rick Ferris before I ever knew he wrestled for BG! Had I known beforehand, I may have been too intimidated to meet up with him. Turns out he was a big sweetheart, but I believe he has since passed away.

Your comment on Phil Latini made me go thru my BG collection. I just found his match on Submissions 2 against Wade Cutler. They start out in the gazebo, then move indoors into the ring. Wade dominates most of the time, but Phil eventually gets the win. Makes Wade stand in the corner and stroke himself. After he shoots Phil shoves him face-first into the mats, stands over him and shoots his own wad over his defeated opponent. Hot match!

yes there is, most of the info is in facebook, its organised by BGEast for third year now in support of the Pride Center in Fort Lauderdale, go to facebook and search for wrestling with pride. I will reply here as soon as i get more feedback on where and what time. Last year tickets were sold online as 20 dollars and on the door is 25 dollars, featuring wrestlers from bgeast roster as well as from indie circuit. The date is set at May 2 at the moment, last year it was held in wilton manors pride conference center
