Personally for me, comparing boxing and wrestling is a little like comparing netball and basketball. Boxing is very much stand up and slug it out. Fairly static, whereas wrestling is about using the whole body and range of movements. Breaking up the clinches is always frustrating.
I'm not denigrating boxing as its about power and muscle, but I prefer wrestling. If you add both together, like MMA, you kinda have the perfect sport.
Why is wrestling so very popular among men here. I have been trying to find guys into boxing pure and simple.
When you box your opponent is in direct sight of you. You are watching his movement to decide what he will do next. You can also see directly if anything you have thrown is making any difference. He it is just a curiousity I mean not to make wrestling any less of a sport but I only want to know. I
