That is exactly what I think is a butchers wrestling singlet!

I see "butcher cut" used to describe singlets with high-cut legs. Yes, also known as leotards. Didja1's singlet is a butcher cut, but in a single-strap variation (which also gets described as Tarzan or caveman or strongman singlet).

Butcher singlet to me means a singlet with no inseam length/ no legs.

Strange that all pictures here are of leotards. It is my impression that a butchers wrestling singlet is a singlet with only one wide loop over one shoulder. Maybe GraemeS can explain which is right?
