Bit embarrassing, but in my early 20s I was drinking too much in a bar and I bumped into an old gray-haired guy. He told me I should apologize and I told him to buzz off; I was rude. He slugged me square in the nose with a straight right. Knocked me on my back, broke my nose, blood flowing everywhere. It hurt like heck, but I was just so surprised an old guy in khakis and a polo shirt could punch that hard. He was shorter than me, slight build, but knew how to punch. I thought at worst he might hit me and I'd whip him, but he floored me. A bouncer intervened after that. I've been bit wary of old guys ever since!
I don’t know but I have some very reliable instincts and I’m really good at dishing it out - dudes are always surprised when I’m like 3, 4 hard fast shots to their one. Always go to the face first fast & hard. Fine w taking shots to the jaw & nose but because I’ve had two cataract ops I can’t allow straight-on punches to either eye. That’s a drag but an absolute rule. But with that rule followed I’m doin pretty fine - at 70 no less. Enjoy it while you can —
Australia, Sydney, 2002, there for Gay Games, my bodybuilding event was over and I was in a bar/backroom setup. Went into an empty room, and from the other side another guy came in. We looked at each other and both our fists clenched, Don't know who threw the first punch, but we beat the shit out of each other, some guys came in and turned around immediately seeing us slugging it out. Was an amazing exhilarating brawl. We agreed to stop, shook hands, went out to the bar area, beaten up and bloodied, ordered a couple beers and talked a bit then parted. Ten years later the dude found my email address and told me how many loads he blew over that fight....and so did I.....over the years.
Got in the face by a guy half my size. I was shocked at first and he went for a second punch, but I caught it and lifted him off the ground and slammed him. Needless to say, he didn’t swing again.
ToeTheLine, a real stud, slugged me in the jaw before I was even fully in the room, leather jackets still on. It was exhilarating! Spontaneous! And it enraged me so I really let loose on him, pounding him with my fists as we brawled all over the room. Great start to an amazing fight.
No, shocked when my nose just exploded with red stuff haha, then adrenaline and excitement kicked in, as I realised he was going to punch me again. so I got one in on him quickly .
Hey guy, any of you remember the first time some dude punched you in the face in a fight? How did it make you feel, aside from the pain of course? Was it what you may have anticipated?
